All of these images were shot hand-held with a Nikon 8008 body and either a Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 ED telephoto zoom lens or a Nikkor 35-70 f2.8 wide-angle zoom lens.

I used Ektachrome Professional E100SW film. The color balance is a little warmer than standard Ektachrome or various Fujichromes. This turned out to be a good thing, because skies were overcast for much of the trip.

The transparencies were scanned with a Nikon LS-2000 film scanner.

The web pages were generated by shell scripts and Python programs running on the Linux machine which is also the web server for arden.org.
